[1Śiva and Śakti are two aspects of the same reality. Sādhanā is the domain of Śakti and liberation that of Śiva.

[2Worldly life is not incompatible with the life of the spirit. One can perform worldly acts without losing one’s identity.

[3Devotion to the Lord is its own reward and not means to an ead. It is not motivated. All desires melt away when one stands face to face with the Lord enjoying His divine presence.

[4Devotion is not something to be cultivated at will. It must be God-inspired. Without such an inspiration there can be no devotion nor any progress in the spiritual field.
